Spotkanie z tłumaczem literatury angielskiej10 marca 2009 r. uczniowie klas z rozszerzonym programem nauczania języka angielskiego mieli okazję spotkać się z tłumaczem. Naszą szkołę odwiedził pan Krzysztof Puławski - filolog angielski, który prowadzi zajęcia z translatoryki na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim oraz przede wszystkim jest tłumaczem literatury angielskiej. W swoim dorobku ma tłumaczenia dzieł wielu autorów. W bardzo ciekawy sposób opowiadał nam o swojej pracy.     English theatre
This school marked its beginning in 1971. In recent years we have been proudly one of the schools in Białystok with the biggest number of candidates applying for a place to study. "This is simply a likeable school", say those students who try to explain the phenomenon of its popularity. Seven arguments for selection of C. K. Norwid High School No 4 in Białystok: 1. We attempt to combine high standards of education and discipline with a nice atmosphere of the educational process, in which students are treated with respect. 2. A suitable selection of subjects of the advanced level curriculum as well as the extended number of classes to realise such curriculum shall result in an appropriate preparation for the matura examination and enable the graduates to enter a desired university. 3. We are really well-prepared for the successful didactic work with the students as the majority of the staff are the New Matura examiners. 4. We are the school that can manage to effectively teach both the apt students and the average ones. 5. For as long as 30 years we have been taking the top places (1-5) in sports competitions in the Podlaskie Province. 6. We create a really suitable, well-organised educational base for our students to study and feel safe and secure. 7. The convenient location in the centre enables the students to commute easily from all city districts.
